Let me start by saying THANK YOU to all of the kind and generous people who have contributed to my fundraising efforts on behalf of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. As of today, I have raised just over $4,000 for this extremely worthy cause.
Today, our team was challenged to raise more than our minimum contributions of $5,500. With that, I have set a new fundraising goal of $6,500! If I reach the goal, I will have exceeded the minimum by $1,000 and earn the designation of "Rock Star" on race day. In addition to the wild recognition that comes along with Rock Star status, I will also receive special apparel to sport on race day.
As I have been since Day 1, I am delighted and honored to be raising money to support the work of this wonderful organization. I encourage anyone reading my blog to consider making a donation in any amount. Every dollar gets LLS one step closer to a cure and me one step closer to becoming a Rock Star!
